Maryn McGaw is a cinematographer from Cleveland based in Los Angeles.

The daughter of two architects and a family firm, she was running blueprints as soon as she was tall enough to reach the copier.

This led to photography & engineering, and on to filmmaking.

She has been part of the ASC Vision Mentorship Program with mentor Mandy Walker, ASC, ACS,

a member of IATSE Local 728, as well as the Society of Camera Operators.

She loves storytelling and its unlimited possibilities, cinematography and its unending craft.

She attended the American Film Institute and is now an instructor there, teaching cinematography.

When not on set, you can find her at yoga, pole, or spin, under the sun at the beach, or cooking with a podcast on.
